Northstar Aviation is an international aircraft manufacturer of light assault helicopters retrofitting Bell 407 aircraft for special military needs. Northstar attends international aviation trade shows around the world, promoting and selling multimillion dollar aircraft they retrofitted and designed.
Northstar Aviation was well known within the helicopter aviation space. Due to the type of clientele Northstar was working with, they had limited photography, video, print materials, and no web presence. Wingman Design and Marketing was able to help change that.
Wingman Design and Marketing performed multiple photo and video shoots on location, displaying the aircraft’s unique design and capabilities. This included time sensitive in air shooting, ramp and hanger images utilizing special lighting techniques and postproduction compositing. From these highly detailed images, Wingman Design and Marketing created the Northstar Aviation website and brochure.
Northstar Aviation landed multiple international government contracts and continues to be a cutting-edge innovator of helicopter retrofitting. From this project, Wingman Design and Marketing was awarded two prestigious accolades from internationally acclaimed aviation periodical, Rotor Magazine, both in photography and video.
